Munro & Warren was born from family. Munro is my grandfather’s middle name. Warren is my father’s middle name. I chose them because I wanted this brand to carry the same qualities I associate with the people who shaped me most: strength, character, hospitality, gratitude, and a genuine care for others.
Service and strength have always been part of my family’s story. My grandfather was a Colonel in the United States Air Force, and my father served as a Marine and received the Purple Heart. Their examples taught me that strength can be quiet, steady, gracious, and deeply rooted in how you treat the people around you.
Some of my earliest memories of hospitality come from time spent at my grandfather’s home. I remember being surrounded by beautiful things, but what stayed with me most was the way people were welcomed. There was an ease and generosity to it—the sense that details mattered because people mattered. As I grew older, my relationship with my father deepened, and I came to admire his remarkable ability to make people feel seen and appreciated. He has always had a natural way of extending hospitality and expressing gratitude to the people he encounters, often through thoughtful gestures that say, “I noticed you. I appreciate you.” That spirit is at the heart of Munro & Warren.
